Welcome to the virtual home of plum pork – a small scale, artisan company producing old-fashioned, free range, traditional breed pork and charcuterie products.

Slowly reared at Rootfield Farm, a working dairy in the Black Isle, our happy porkers combine two of the best traditional British breeds: the Gloucestershire Old Spot and the Tamworth.

Fed on a diet of bruised barley, fresh milk, grass, vegetable peelings and windfall apples, our piggies enjoy lots of space and fresh air, and as a result produce exceptionally tasty and tender meat. In fact, we think possibly the most plum pork you’ll ever taste!

NEW FRESHLY FROZEN PORK

Due to customer demand for greater availability of our free range rare breed pork we will be launching our new freshly frozen range next month (March). Available 7 days a week from the plum pork portacabin, you will be able to buy roasts, ribs, chops, steaks, mince, sausages, belly and diced pork - frozen within 24 hours of butchery - direct fro the farm whenever suits you. Watch this space for the launch date!.

FARM OPEN DAY - EASTER
