Welcome to the virtual home of plum pork – a small scale, artisan company producing old-fashioned, free range, traditional breed pork and charcuterie products.

Slowly reared at Rootfield Farm, a working dairy in the Black Isle, our happy porkers combine two of the best traditional British breeds: the Gloucestershire Old Spot and the Tamworth.

Fed on a diet of bruised barley, fresh milk, grass, vegetable peelings and windfall apples, our piggies enjoy lots of space and fresh air, and as a result produce exceptionally tasty and tender meat. In fact, we think possibly the most plum pork you’ll ever taste!

February 2009 – FRESHLY FROZEN PORK

Located at Rootfield Farm next to the Farmhouse, pop by any time to browse and buy! Just ring the back door bell, or call the number on the ‘Pork-a-cabin' for assistance. Please remember we accept cash or cheques only.
